Can I Swaddle a Rolling Baby?

Unfortunately, there comes a time in every parent’s life when your baby is suddenly on the move and you realise you can no longer use your favourite sleeping aid, the swaddle. Most babies sleep so well when swaddled that many parents dread the thought of having to transition to something different. Although the exact time will vary for each baby, most babies start rolling somewhere between 4 to 6 months of age.  Once your baby starts to roll, it’s important that they are able to roll back over onto their stomach should they roll over in their sleep. Having their arms free from the swaddle helps them to achieve this.
